By joining the group it will give you more control over the costs and the water. Currently, you purchase finished water from DWSD with no input as to the cost. As a member of the group, you will purchase raw water and treat it to your own standards. As a member, you will participate in establishing the cost and rates for the water.

Incorporating Board Meeting, Authority Board Meeting and Public Hearing on Fiscal Year 2020/2021 Budget
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the KWA Board meeting scheduled to be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, per Resolution 2019-04, has been CANCELLED.
The meeting of the Incorporating Board of the Karegnondi Water Authority will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 9:45 a.m., local time, on the FY 2020/2021 Budget (attached). The location of the meeting will be at the Genesee County Water Treatment Plant, located at 4414 Stanley Road, Columbiaville, MI 48421.
The meeting of the Authority Board of the Karegnondi Water Authority will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., local time, or as soon after as the Incorporating Board meeting adjourns, on the FY 2020/2021 Budget (attached). The location of the meeting will be at the Genesee County Water Treatment Plant, located at 4414 Stanley Road, Columbiaville, MI 48421.
